MDOM was started in the year 2010.

As we were already a healthcare Backoffice Service Provider for over a decade, one of our major clients asked us to find a HIPAA compliant email service that was affordable for their budget and reliable for the business communication of their 2,000+ clients. When we started exploring for it, we were surprised we couldn't find any good options. That's when the idea for our Encrypted Email Service germinated.
