Using Internet Explorer with Compatibility View enabled

Internet Explorer has a Compatibility View, a feature that affects how some websites are displayed. If Compatibility View is enabled for google.com, it may cause some MDOfficeMail features to display incorrectly. To help make sure that your MDOfficeMail displays correctly, we suggest that you remove google.com from your list of sites that have Compatibility View enabled. To do this, follow the steps below:

  • Open the Tools menu at the top of your browser and select Compatibility View Settings.
  • Select Yourdomain.mdofficemail.com under "Websites you've added to Compatibility View."
If you don't see “Yourdomain.mdofficemail.com" listed, type in manually and add it to the list or if these steps don't help you resolve the problem, please make sure your computer has the latest Windows updates.
  • Click Remove.
  • At the bottom of the window, make sure that the box next to "Display all websites in Compatibility View" is not checked.
  • Click Close

Note: If your Windows computer is administered by your organization, you may not be able to access Compatibility View Settings or remove Yourdomain.mdofficemail.comfrom the list of affected domains. Please contact your administrator or helpdesk as they may have used a Windows group policy setting to set this parameter for you.
